Light the tip of the cone, and wait till it burns evenly then blow out the cone and place it in the backflow incense burner. It will take around 5 minutes for the smoke to start flowing downwards.
PLEASE NOTE: It is perfectly normal for there to be a slight oily residue left on the holder after burning, this can easily be moved with a damp cloth
