The Seer Crone
The year is nearly ended, nights are long, the moon is dark and for the Seer Crone it is time for reflection, of taking stock of what has been achieved during this turn of the Solar Wheel.
Our Iron Age ancestors crafted beautiful polished bronze mirrors which may have been used for Scrying; shamanic journeying to other worlds in search of wisdom, and by reflecting light into dark places, gleaning knowledge or communicating with the dead.
Now is Halloween, feast of the departed dead, but death and decay is not the end, as toadstools and fungus feed on the remains, they recycle death back into life.
