Autumn Equinox - 21st September The Autumn Equinox is the point of balance in the waning year. It is the late harvest - of fruit and berries in the hedgerows. It is the time to thank the mother Goddess for bounty and abundance received gratefully and stored for times of want during the coming winter months. From now on the power of the sun will recede as its shadow describes an anticlockwise spiral returning to the womb/tomb.
